Submit a STEM or STEAM Program

Michigan STEAM Kids is always looking for quality STEM and STEAM programs to feature. If you operate a program that serves kids or teens in Michigan, we invite you to submit it for consideration.

What We're Looking For

We consider programs that meet the following criteria:

  • Focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) or STEAM (STEM + arts integration)

  • Designed for children, teens, or families with children (preschool through high school)

  • Located in Michigan or offered virtually by a Michigan-based organization

  • Operated by a legitimate, publicly verifiable organization or educator

  • Currently active, upcoming, or recurring annually

We are particularly interested in programs that offer genuine hands-on learning, serve underrepresented communities, cover areas or cities not yet well-represented on our site, or fill a gap in our current program coverage.

How to Submit

Use the form below to tell us about your program. The more detail you provide, the easier it is for us to evaluate your submission.

What to Expect

After you submit a program, here's what happens:

  1. We review your submission. We evaluate every submission against our inclusion criteria. This typically takes 1–2 weeks.

  2. We research your program. If your program meets our baseline criteria, we gather additional information from your website and publicly available sources.

  3. We write an editorial listing. If selected, we create an original editorial profile of your program. We do not publish provider-supplied marketing copy.

  4. We publish the listing. Once our listing is complete and reviewed, it goes live on the site with appropriate tags, categories, and internal links.

Important Notes

  • Submission does not guarantee a listing. We evaluate every program through our standard review process and only publish listings for programs that meet our editorial standards.

  • There is no cost to be listed. Michigan STEAM Kids does not charge providers for inclusion. Our listings are editorially selected, not paid placements.

  • You will not have editorial control. We write our own descriptions based on our research. Providers do not review or approve listing copy before publication. If you believe a published listing contains an error, you can report it through our Contact page and we will review it promptly.

  • We write honest, parent-focused content. Our listings are designed to help parents make informed decisions. We present programs fairly and accurately, but we do not write promotional content.

Already Listed?
